Matt Williams

As our Business Coordinator, Matt utilizes his backgrounds in operations management and data analytics and his passion for outdoor adventure. Before joining the Explore Austin team, Matt served as the Operations Manager at climbing gym Austin Bouldering Project where he led a team to maintain the facility. After three years in that role, he decided to pursue data analytics and web development, and joined Explore Austin in 2022.

Matt has been an avid climber for 10 years, and says his driving force is having a connection with something bigger than himself. For Matt, being outside with others is a an important way to connect with the planet and create community.
