Ashlee grew up in New Braunfels, Texas and moved to Austin after getting her BA in Political Science at Texas State University in San Marcos. During college she worked as a nanny and currently works for St. Jude Medical as a Senior Sales Operations Specialist. Ashlee has been active in sports since she began playing soccer in 3rd grade continues to play on a womens’ team in Round Rock. She has run 5 marathons including: Austin, New York, San Diego, Chicago and most recently Boston. Ashlee has a passion for kids and had been interested in participating in Explore Austin before there was a girls program available. She is very excited to be a part of the very first girls class and looks forward to helping these girls build confidence and learn skills needed for success!
