Erin was raised in a small town in rural Michigan, and spent the majority of her childhood riding a Huffy Laredo, running through corn fields, and skinning her knees climbing trees. In high school she participated competitively in track & field, which cultivated a love of running that continues today. She completed her undergraduate education at Central Michigan University and earned a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. Erin works at the University of Texas as a clinical social worker and in her spare time she enjoys running ridiculously long distances, eating large amounts of food, and fostering connection with others through laughter and authentic conversation. Erin is looking forward to creating memories and S’mores with Explorers and fellow mentors.
