It’s hard to pick a favorite, but sitting around a camp fire with friends after a full day of something active (mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, etc).
What do you like to do in your free time?
My wife Kate and I are fairly active. We love to walk the neighborhood together or work in our vegetable garden. Personally, I play on a soccer team and regularly practice yoga to stay fit.
How has an experience with a mentor impacted your life?
My youth pastor for all of middle school and high school was a man named Paul Wise. His defining trait is his consistency.
What made you decide to be a mentor?
A concern of mine is getting so focused on work and family I forget or don’t prioritize giving back to the community. I believe no one succeeds alone, and my intention is to be a small part of the positive development of the Explorers in our group.
